We've concentrated on the following areas :-

Navigation

A navigation bar at the top of each page links to the main sections of the website. A bread-crumb trail will appear under the navigation bar as a secondary form of quick navigation

Text Size

The size of the text has been selected as being the most appropriate for the majority of users. The design of the site also allows you to modify the text size without affecting the layout of the site. In order to modify the text size please use the standard text size functionality within your web browser.

Design

We've tried to keep the design of the site as simple as possible to help the user experience. Graphics have been used only where necessary.

Images

All images have been given appropriate alternative text, except those used for positioning and layout

Links

All hyperlinks and menu items have been given the most appropriate title tags possible.

Standards Compliance

Every page on this website is built using standards-compliant xhtml 1.0 transitional mark-up as recommended by the W3C. Extensive testing has also been carried out across multiple browsers to ensure the experience is user friendly and easily accessible

Methodology

The content of the site has been separated from the visual design wherever possible and cascading style sheets (CSS) are used for visual layout
